Assembly Line

3,500.00

This piece is part of my "Abandoned Spaces" series is a composite image of an assembly line in one of the largest car plants in the world where car and even airplane engines were once assembled. The vivid colours are a result of graffiti and people now going paint-balling in the space!

This C-Type Fine Art Photographic Print is mounted on a reverse acrylic sub-frame and arrives ready to hang.

It is 50" x 30", part of an edition of 50 and comes signed with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The reverse acrylic subframe provides a sleek and contemporary finish to this piece. This framing technique involves a fine art C-Type photographic print mounted between a sheet of perspex and an aluminium-backing sheet. It removes the need for a heavy frame, eliminates unwanted light reflections and comes with a subframe on the back, making it easy to hang (it is much lighter than a frame with glass). It also allows the piece to sit virtually flush to a wall when hung, adding to its modern aesthetic.
